The Foodlists for the United States and Canada have been increasing in size every month as we add more products that have been identified as meeting the Feingold Program guidelines. American Foodlists are now almost 200 pages long, while the newer Canadian Foodlist is almost 100 pages long.
To have their product included, a manufacturer must fill out and sign a form for each product, listing the product's ingredients and additives, including secondary additives such as preservatives in the oil or packaging, or flavoring added to fruit concentrates. There is no charge to a manufacturer for listing their products -- if they meet our guidelines. If they don't, they cannot be listed.
Members can also subscribe to a members email list to receive product alerts when a product must be removed from the Foodlist because it is no longer acceptable.
The Foodlists are updated and reprinted several times a year; if you have a Foodlist that is more than a year old, it is time to buy a new one. See inside Foodlist to get an idea what you will find.
If you travel, you may want a Foodlist for more than one state. The books are organized by region. Click on the Regions List to see if the state you are traveling to is included in your region, or if you need to purchase another book.
